Attention everyone:
We've made a few dozen of the small plaques and will have them with us at this weekend's event.  Some have been mailed, meaning that if you requested that we mail 'em -- it's been done.  The rest of you may just mosey over to our pit and ask Nancy or me for your desired number of the little plaques.

I've counted only a couple of requests for the larger items -- the 8.5 x 11 size, at $15 each.  One was to be mailed - and so it has been.  I only made one of them (and therefore am down to one now), so unless you get back to me by mid-day tomorrow -- there won't be more than that one for you.  Again -- if you wanted your plaque mailed you'll get it that way.

As for a few special orders -- well, Joe's will get done maybe in time for this weekend, and Charles' is still waiting for him to get back to me with some information.  I don't think anyone else asked for a personalized plaque, so if you did and I have therefore missed it -- get back to me one more time over again (so to speak) and I'll get to it.  I'm afraid that "real" work has now and then got in the way of making these, so some might get made and mailed after we get back to work next Wednesday morning.

But, in the meantime, order more.  They're nice mementos of the fun we've had at the Maxton track.

Mr. Slim

I'll be happy to buy two of the small ones from you at the track if you're not already on the road heading there and I'm too late!

Looking forward to seeing everyone there--

best regards,

Paul O

Well, just trying to be polite... must be my southern upbringing.  That'd be just south of Boston... :-D

Spoken like a true gentleman.

"Buttface" - I've got to use that word more often.

So speaking of the last Maxton event -- will one or two of you please refresh my memory?  When is the big party -- Saturday night or Sunday after racing?  We vote for Saturday -- leaving early Sunday midday to deliver the race bike, so prefer that the party not start after we leave.  Not that the time and date will change just for us, but maybe. . .

I am pretty sure that Ocktoberfest is scheduled for Saturday p.m.

Slim it was a pleasure to meet you this weekend at Maxton, I would like to order a small plaque from you if they are still available and I will send a check as soon as I find your address. Hope that you had a good weekend, we sure did and I look forward to seeing you here in Wilmington next year.

Bruce - and others:

The mailing address for landracing.com is 509 Dukes Road, Skandia, Michigan 49885

We're someplace in the middle of Pennsylvania, heading for Ohio for the night - and home by tomorrow evening.  What's this white stuff around here -- cotton candy for Halloween?  It's all over the houses and hilltops. . . :-P
