well this is not a all out race effort. it is a daily driven street truck that i would like to make very fast. we have dubbed it project 11:30, shooting for 11 second quarter and 30 miles per gallon. it started out as a 98 dodge reg cab 3/4 ton with a cummins and a auto. i cut 16"s out of the frame between the cab and the rear axle, and 4 more inches off the rear of the frame. i got real lucky and picked up a short box with a tailgate for 215 bucks from a junk yard. i rearched the rear springs till they were flat, that was a mistake, too low and smacked the bumpstops all the time. so i have since rearched another set. the front has one full coil cut off it to keep it streetable. i was planning on a air ride set up but i don't have the time or money right now to do it. the motor has 240k on it and runs fine. i switched to a 913 injection pump, and a set of lenny's dynomite diesel stage 4 injectors. i have plenty of fuel for 700 plus rwhp, but i need air. so this weekend i will see about putting on a set of compound turbo charger set up on it and get the power out of it. we have cranked up the line pressures on the transmission trying to get it to hold the power, and i have another torque converter that i need to install. i will have it at goliad and see what it will do. here are a few pics, i will post some more when i get the turbos on it. mike
