ECTA's Ohio Mile Race Dates for 2012

We have finalized the 2012 dates:

April 28-29 Hot Rod Magazine Street Car Shootout
June 2-3
July 7-8
Sept 28-29

Setup day will be Friday before the Meet.

I think you mean September 29 - 30 , the 28th is a Friday.

Now Joe, since things have settled down a bit for you, just how
SMOOTH is the runway surface?
Will it support a liner with about 1" clearance in the front????
Ohio is about a 5 hour tow for us, as opposed to a day and half to Maxton.
Seems like a wonderful place to test and have some fun.

Rick,
It is as smooth as a baby's back-side. The runway is five years old and has not had any activity since June of 2010. You will need more ground clearance to get around the track.

The September race IS the 29 and 30.

Dates are marked and we will start booking the hotel before the year is out.  I'm going to really miss Maxton, but am looking forward to Ohio.
