I am not sure but I may bring my first LSR car out of retirement.
For those wo don't remember, this is my 1933 Ford Vicky race car.

If I get the motor back in and the gear changed it would be nice for the Vicky to make a last pass before Maxton goes in our history books.

MM,

I have more than one trailer.... also Vicky may be at Goodguys on Display in the Suede and Chrome area on Friday.. so it will already be loaded and ready (assuming all work gets done and deal comes together)

Street rod engine in the Vicky?   It has about as much aero as a red brick.

It's OK.  Charles runs the Vicki in the "Brick" class so all's well.  Us LSR folks have a class for everything.

Don't forget the Oktoberfest at the track Saturday, October 29th around 6:30 pm.  The ECTA will be providing the main course (thinking about a pig pickin') and a few sides (coleslaw, baked beans), but any additional side dishes and deserts would be most welcome!!!!  Other things you may want to consider bringing are chairs and whatever you would like to drink.  Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks!!

Charles:
How fast did the Vicky go in E trim ? I hate that I am not going to make it. I have decided to rebuild the 2100 for speedweek 2012. With my travel and schedule it will take a year to get it ready.

Bill  the Vicky has been 157mph with E motor and 158mph with C motor.

At no point could I ever hold the Vicky full throttle at Maxton....she is a brick and very light 2,525 lbs... combine that with circa 1930's straight axle,, the bumps and the personality of Maxton's track,, and quite possible my nerves when she goes sideways at a buck 50....

It would be nice to see how fast she can go at Ohio..

Sorry you will not make Maxton this month,,, I do understand...

Maybe we can have dinner in December in Orlando... I plan on going to PRI  show if I can get an invite....

The Venable collection - for a limited time.  Looking forward to seeing them both, Charles, and finally meeting you.

Charles I can probably arrange a PRI pass for you. We are registered but not going this year. We are going to the IMIS show most likely.

Charlie ... Save the Vicky for Ohio ... don't run it at Maxton if it has any evil tendencies.

Chev - Too late.  That Vicki has been down the Monster Mile more times than I can count, and I can count to 20 if I take my shoes off!

Yeah but the Stude is rock solid and a real land speed car ... The Vicky is really a sharp street rod not a race car.
