306 'Vett [one that had the pushrod problem] showed for me on #24.

No pics for me on #25.

Thanks for the pics Joe, always good to see what I missed when I can't make a meet.

Anybody have any more info on the A/GL?

Marcia, still working on lining up the other life stuff [including working up the wood pile] so I can get down to Oct Maxton for a final speed fix and see everybody again before snow.

I unraveled the photobucket deal ... I will repost the missing shots

Corvette - dropped a push rod

Maine Barons

Lloyd Frink - his family has 4 bikes entered. Probably hold 25 current LSR records between Bonneville/Maxton/Loring

72 Norton Commando

Jodie Perewitz - hurt the engine at Bubs. Completely rebuilt in 2 weeks and runs 193 at Loring.

Great day ... no wind ... high in the 70-s ... they were hot lapping after 3 today ... Shane Burton and Rachel Johnson made it all the way from Virginia this morning. They tested the new body work on the ZX14. Rachel was asked to  be the test pilot for 2 bikes that werent as fast as their owners thought they should be and she demonstrated to the first one that was running consistanly at 180 how to go 191 mph. Quite a rider. Jodie Perewitz kept shaking out the new engine 10 mph at a time and went 192 ... The ladies are starting to take over the sport.

Thanks Joe! We had a great time, and it was worth the thrashing to get up there. Great to see everyone again, and meet some new people. We even snuck in a couple of records on open classes.   :-D

As always, we really appreciate all of the work everyone does to make these events happen. Now that we are getting back into the swing of things, we are looking forward to getting back to our volunteer efforts as well.  :-)

I had a great weekend, both volunteering and finally getting a chance to go down the track.  No longer a LSR virgin, lol.  My plan to hot-lap on Sunday was thwarted by a cracked cylinder head on my T500.  Oh well, as always the great folks involved with LSR made it a super event.  Thanks everyone!

We ran the Ron's Hobby Shop Special supercharged flathead Ford powered lakester on Saturday into a 15 MPH headwind the motor shut down before the finish line coasting across the line running 152.152 MPH setting a new LSR record in the process. We still have more to learn about this stuff the motor is coming out of the car I need to deal with more issues. We hope to have things back together for the last ECTA event in October.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers as well as Tim Kelly and family for all their work.
Heres a video of my run on Saturday hope you enjoy it.
