Great pics and this looks like a nice venue to build for...................Why do I always live more than a 1000 miles from someplace?

Slim.........are you listening? I'm thinking SAWYER AFB in the UP! Convenient to Chicago, Milwaukee, Twin Cities......... I think it has a 2.5 mile runway............was used for B52s.............it even has housing for rent.

Uhn, mmm, I think the racing would be great at Sawyer International Airport, dodging American and Delta and the private aircraft that fly in and out of there. In fact -- I tell you what, tomorrow morning, when Nancy and I fly out of Sawyer (bound for SLC and eventually Wendover) -- I'll see if I can smuggle a working GPS onto the aircraft to see if I can learn just how fast it goes on the 12,300' runway. How's that for a quick survey?
