Remember those we lost on 9-11. It was a sad day and they should never be forgotten. May they rest in peace.

We had our annual ceremony at JFK - We hold a service at the memorial located in front of Hangar 10 ... the plaque on the monument has the names of the crew members and employees that were onboard F11 and F77 ... What is especially moving is that 2 of the flight attendants on F11 were husband and wife. Plus on F77 there was a retired pilot flying with his wife ...

You know who really pays close attention and watches every repeat of the original footage?

About 500 million Muslims - they love it.

Panic, this is not the first time you've headed down this path -

What to do about the price of energy?
The thing they won't talk about:
change this:

to this:

"The enemy of America is not our many Muslim friends. It is not our many Arab friends. Our enemy is a radical network of terrorists and every government that supports them." -- George W. Bush, 9/20/01

Panic, if I've learned nothing else in the last 10 years, I have learned that broad brush statements are easy to make, and difficult to defend.

I'm proud to be a citizen of the United States, and as a fellow citizen, I'm embarrassed by some of your statements.

Well, I guess we're making a LOT of progress . . .

Panic,
I  don't comment at all. I just eavesdrop because I don't know much about Landracing, but I do know that I'm in full agreement with MM on this topic. I try to live my life as an American, guided by the Constitution of this Great Land, and it grew from the  principles of Equality and Freedom for all with tolerance for all beliefs. We won't ever forget, but we must always remember that a small group of folks violated us, not an entire group of people choosing away to honor God. As Americans, when we forget that all of us were from other places and were looking for a place to be accepted, we surrender to the oppressor and give lie to our own heritage.

In my travels I have met many upstanding Muslims that I would be more than proud to call my friend. I have no problem with whatever religion you choose to practice. I do however have a problem with the fanatical SOB that goes so far to convert me to their way of thinking that they try to kill me if I disagree. I do have a problem with people that do harm to the very people I have sworn to protect. That number is a very small minority, and we are doing a very good job of eliminating that faction.
Panic I think you need to sit this one out.
