4L Infinity “E” Motor
« on: September 08, 2011, 02:26:28 PM »
This is a very nice 4-liter Infinity IRL motor suitable for “E” class. Appears to be rebuilt with some dyno time only. It does not come with the ECU, but can use Motec M8, M800, Pectel SQ6 or SQ6M or possibly other brands of ECU’s.  This is an ex Eddie Cheever engine and is available in Palo Alto CA. $10,000 includes a $2500 air flight case. Rick, The engine is 32" wide, 22 1/2" tall to the top of the stacks (using medium tall stacks) and 24"long.  Tony

The front cover makes these engines a little wide, but if you change  the water outlet to the front you can pick up about 3".  The engine is complete with the engine loom and coils.  The fuel injection is the trick barrel valve style that the Chevy IRL program copied on a few engines. Would consider interesting trades full or partial.  I also have some of the ultra rare 3.5 liter Infinity engines that were developed by TWR for the LeMans program that were also used on Eddie Cheever's IRL cars and the Caparo Super Car http://www.caparo-t1.com/ Tony

Very cool engine Tony, way out of my comfort zone. For those like me, what would a management system run to get something like this functioning?
