Karl,
Well this will be a our first WOS event, we are actually going to try and make the ElMirage just to spectate or help out on the 11th first then cruise up that night.

We will be running a D/STR with the number 534 so if you see us say hello, and these next two weeks are going to go by way to fast lots of things for us to do...

I'll be there doing roving patrol on the "short course". It's actually the first 3 miles of the "long course". Same as last year. Wayno

Karl - The bike wasnt ready and I wasnt going to go. My nephews had their heat set on Bonneville and I couldnt disappoint them. Joe ran well but broke the exhaust pipe on his return run. Getting it welded and turning bike over to Cliff to race.
You do well at WOS and show everyone what TFA is all about.

Joe,
bummer on the pipe, but i'm guessing that it's not Ti, and will be easy to get welded.

TFA will be well represented at WOS, and RustBucketRoller is as done as i know how to make it.

I'm itchy to hit the road.

Good luck today to Cliff.

A couple of noob participant questions:

What is the difference between ONLY Land Speed Racing Classes and ALL? Does ONLY = everyone but 130 and 150 class vehicles?

And is Registration (I already registered for 130 class and received confirmation by mail) at Lands End or in the pits and do I need to show up ther to get my car #?

My daughter may  be a last minute crew member. Do I just need to get her name on my entry so when she shows up at Lands End she can get cleared and be able to enter without having to pay a spectator ticket?

Thx - Bob

I am a newbie at WOS and I have noticed that it has been mentioned that some entrants have received a confirmation by mail, well my Pre-Entry was sent in one day before I left home in South Carolina back in July, so I haven't been home to read any mail that may have been sent and I'm sitting in Ogden right now with the WABBIT in the trailer, so I hope that I got a confirmation.

Did I miss something in the registration process? While I'm traveling I handle all of my business and other affairs by using the Internet and I did include my email address on the entry form.

I'm not new to LSR just new to Bonneville and I do have a permanent number already. I came out early to visit some of the old places that I hung out at when I was stationed at Hill AFB back in the 60's, if they are still around cheesy.

Flagman, you might go to the USFRA website and hit the contact information and give a call. If you don't have any luck, let me know and I'll give you another phone number that'll get you through. Wayno
