From a really nice late afternoon to a morning of dense fog and light rain. Muggy doesn't describe it well enough. The forecast is good, but the radar and real life tell another story. Like I said before. It beats work.

Always wondered about Maxton - do they have a fuel vendor on site?  If so, what octanes are available?

hey Joe,
thanks for posting the pix, but where is the hayabusa?  :-D

and could you ask the owner of that gsxr why he is apparently carry weight on the arm at an asphalt event?
Is there some benefit I should be thinking about?

that crossed my mind also.

maybe it's a swing arm reinforcement.
or tube without any shot or ballast.

I have never seen a landpeed front fender
like the 1 on randy smiths gsxr.

is it a new product or home built?
for all I know it could be stock.
looks good.

The attachments are fabricated and were filled with lead shot. They were poured in and then melted in place. The bike is really well done.

the arm on that gixxer looks about 2" stretched, if that.

Don't know why he'd need any weight?????

Certainly not outa the hole, but maybe at the big end?
Maybe it's a Bonneville bike???

Dunno about Bonneville, this is a polished bike ... but there was no bite at Maxton this weekend ... heavy damp air (95% humidity) with intemittant rain and the obiligatory track dry out ..  all the weight you could get in the right place would have helped.
