OK,,, I will start..

Congratulations to  Dave KixMiller for making the 2 club in his pickup. Not sure of top speed but he set record 216 or 217 mph.

Bill Reilly in his Orange #2100 Camaro had problems getting to the slat (tractor problems)  twisted and broke a drive shaft, tore floor out and cracked a transmission at 191mph,, got it fixed and  ran a 200.739  his best ever run and ON THE SALT...what a great story....

Keith Turk and crew had some internal engine problems in the Camaro and turned the 572 BBC into a 143 BBC "F" motor and not sure how fast they went,, but they sure get the award for determination.

Noticed Rod Nestman got a record with his pickup.

     Bracie found another slot.

Pete Keyser overcame the teething problems from Loring and starting difficulties at the Salt to get his new car up to speed.  Heard a rumor he is headed home happy with the results and has good ideas on what to do to for increased numbers next time.

Charles,
I had the pleasure of parking next to the Turkburgher in impound after our roadster 1986 qualified for the E/gr record at 204.771. Then, there was the backup run in the morning.  When I went to press the shift button on the steering wheel nothing happened.  I quickly reached behind me for the air activated button and continued driving with one hand on the wheel and one hand on the button requiring a bit of a twist in my body.  Sadly this lost a bit of speen and I only went 200 mph  when I need 202.  We are still elated at how we did.  I think the ECTA looked good.

FREUD

Freud, my hopes was this year for WOS..but the E motor got hurt and is not ready.  Not being one to show up unprepared to do well,,, I am postponing this year for several reasons.....

I am limiting my 2012 paved events and leisure travel so to FOCUS on Bonneville for 2012 (focus as well as save money and vacation days) This will allow me time to gather the needed help and resources for 2012 and give me the time for Wind Tunnel and Dyno testing.

I will finish out the 2011 season with ECTA and LTA,, hoping for a 2 club in one or both venues. (with my bigger C motor)

We pitted with Kix/Chris/Kris and Bill Reilly and had a great time running the 'Predators' cup car. The plan was for three of us to run it and make a bunch of laps over 200. That didn't quite happen. Wayne and Steve ran 197 and 207 and I ran 190 on our first passes. Wayne was running about 209 (GPS) on his second pass when the car spun a main bearing. He still got a 200.7 on his 5 mile speed so he was happy with that but no more passes for me.

Freud, sorry we didn't get together at the mud talks. I did end up spending a bunch of time with Russ Eyres and he was extremely helpful in passing along salt history and current conditions.

The Kix-Henderson crew had an unbelievable week with the truck... we unloaded strong from the trailer and got faster every run!!!

I ran the truck down the long course early on Sunday and upped the six year standing record by 6mph with a 216 pass.  The windy backup run was only 211, so the new record was set at 213 and change, and I joined the 2 club!

Kris Henderson abandoned his normal driving position in the Jag and jammed himself into the truck to bust off a 217, backing it up the next morning for a new record, and membership to the 2 club!

We kept making adjustments in ride height, rake, and some carb tuning and got Chris Coffey up to a 218 for the now standing record.  Chris also joined the 2 club with that record!

We pulled out all the stops on Thursday morning and I ran course one out the back door at 222mph... it was a pretty crazy ride downcourse and I almost pulled the chute three times before the end of mile 5, but we were in impound once again!  Unfortunately, Friday morning was grey and extremely windy, the run was going well up to about 175mph when a wind gust blew me off the course and around.... so no backup on the 222.  The left rear tire blew on the spin, but the truck was solid and stable on the ground through the whole event.... looks like the only damage was the wheel/tire/moon disc.

Bill Reilly had more than his fair share of problems this week, but never gave up and was able to get the car back together for a last day pass at over 200mph!  Way to go Bill!!!

Overall, we fulfilled an impossible dream and I got to drive the truck to 222 mph on the Big Boy course at Bonneville and have a time slip to prove it.......  thrilling... absolutely thrilling!  Thanks to everyone that helped us along the way... especially the Turks and the Timneys for letting us wear out their cell phones and their ears getting this thing together!!!
