Fueling for long duration runs.
« on: February 18, 2006, 02:36:01 PM »
Hi all. I am starting to get into top speed runs, I have been building my Stealth TT to run at Maxton at this point. I have built a really tight motor, and its running really well. My question, is about fuel, or more specific adding fuel for long durations at WOT.  I am running about 15 psi boost, on 93 at about 11.8 A/F, full standalone AEM EMS. I am at this point thinking of adding fuel for 4th and 5th gear. I am wondering if anyone is doing anything like this or if you are just running your max power A/F for the full duration. Or maybe pull a degree or 2 of timeing, I just dont wana melt down while still learning, or make a newb mistake. I figure if anyone would know what I am talking about it would be the guys on here. Thanks for any info you might have. Mark.
