With the recent passing of good pal Jim Montague "keeper" of the record holding electric streamliner yrs truly learned from the Ed Rannberg family that the 'liner is for sale.
A Caltech wind tunnel tested design by Gerald Arivett, it's electric components have been removed and the powerplant / battery area leaves room for a variety of powerplants.
As an aside, Jim Montague was a journeyman Bonneville racer, beginning with Don McEvoy's Triumph efforts in the '60s, the Eyeball Engineering "Swift" motorcycle whose Doug Kruse body he funded on up to Lightening Rod. He witnessed, along with Cmdr Andy Green, the Ohio State 314.9 Electric record!
