Big shout out to Larry Wall from Burlington, IA, who bought our set of leathers, funds going toward equipment upgrades.  Larry is racing bike # 825' a stroked '49 WL w/ WR top in 650 MVG650.  Hope it's for a record, Larry!

It worked fine all day yesterday but all day today I could not get any sound with my work PC or my iPhone. It just kept saying "corrupted signal."

Sound has been excellent for most of the day today.  Since lunchtime (central time), something seems to have changed in the mic balance, or something like that.  One mic sounds like it's very far away, and the other has a lot of clunking and klonking sounds, like it's bouncing around in someone's pocket or something like that.

I mention this not to complain, but to inform anyone who might be reading this at the salt.

Thanks again,

Steve.

I think Glen is on break, he has more experience with the mike. It sounds the same here

Penny, Glenn has the CB slightly lower than the color mic, had complaints of too much gain.

Please ask for specific information on race vehicle on the Speedweek 2012 thread.  Poor Max, sniff, is tethered to the audio unit, has not way to answer specific questions here.

By the by, I wuz sick yesterday, slept most of it, didn't even talk to Jon.  But the new gear went 7 to 7 w/o a glitch.  Perhaps I'll go back to sleep . . . just kidding.  The bug ran itself out overnight and I'm back to making the usual mistakes today.

I hope the sound is good today.

Monix,

Good to meet you, thanks for all of the work on the live feed. It was great to stay connected in real time even though I am back on the east coast.

Ah, sniff, sniff, our final day.  What a week, as usual.

The new gear works.  As said earlier, we thank our Milwaukee Midget for being a source for unique equipment and bringing us out of the stone age.

At forthcoming meets, we expect to have the audio gear inside Jon and Nancy's Seldom Seen Slim/Landracing.com trailer.  Woot!  Enough room to bust a few moves to the music in my head.

Motorcyclists can tune in for our audio from BUB Speed Trials later this month.
