Max, I don't remember what you use for a CB radio for the streaming audio, but in case you don't have one -- I bought a brand-spanking-new Cobra for $39.99 at the T/A truckstop in Toelle.  Heads up to others that need a CB -- that's about as good a price as you'll find for a radio that'll do the job out here.

Back to Max:  I got the new CB to sorta permanently install in the pit trailer so we can monitor what's going on.  But if we decide that we want the CB audio on the streaming - I can run a line from the audio output to your gear.  Keep it in mind.  Other folks:  What do you think -- should we or shouldn't we add the CB to the mix?

For 40 bucks try it. You can always unplug it if it does not work.

Interesting note - in case you try to buy one.  On the shelf it's marked as $39.99, but it rang up as $54.99 when the bar code reader scanned it.  The lady went to the shelf, saw the sign, and gave me the good price - but take it as a warning so you do get the low price.  It's a fine deal.

And I wanted one to mount on the wall inside the pit trailer, so for $40 I'm all set.

Great.  I did buy a Cobra at a truck stop in Indiana on the way to the ECTA opener.  It is, as I type, plugged into the back of the mixer.  I'll bring it, and hook it or yours up in the trailer, as it's nice to have one in the car.  I've one magnet arial on a long cable, but these things seem to do well with the built in.  The Cobra is much nicer than the matched pair of Craigslist specials from a heavy smoker's car.

Last minute shopping for odds, ends, and whatever I can think of that precludes a trip to SLC in the middle of things.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

Hey, Max - give me a call when you're up and flying.  I can run a QC update from my end.

Wow, Bill - you must really REALLY want to be there.

Might have been faster to build yourself an ultralight.

Yes, yesterday was a mess ended up leaving the airport and going back home. I am and hour out of SLC now. I will be ok. My plan is to race every other year, but to be here every year that I can.

Are you coming out this Sept with the car?

Bill, World Finals is the plan, but I've been ambushed with so much work this year, and a re-think on the engine, that it's going to take a thrash to get 'er done.

Max, I'm getting that hi freq "hard drive noise" - it's clear you're streaming, but it's not carrying any audio at the moment.

All I am hearing is static "noise" also.  Don't know if you are streaming right now?
