Hmm.  When we put this all on the bench in the trailer, that's what we were upgrading toward.  The XP platform is good for a single use serving unit.  If someone out here knows how to us one of these spare laptops for its screen and keyboard for the workstation, but I'm game for anything that solves the issue w/ staying online.

Penny, thanks for checking in and the kind words.  If it doesn't go well today, I may hang myself from the nearest tree, but since there are none . . .   Cheers!

Good to hear that things are starting to work.  Nancy and I are still at the Univ. horsepital in SLC and hope to escape for the return to Wendover later this morning.  She fractured a clavicle and a couple of ribs, but is pretty fine otherwise.  Might be in la-la land with the painkillers for a while, but we'll be back to Bonneville as soon as we can - today.  I'll post elsewhere, too, but I kinda think this'll put the kai-bosh on Salt Talks for this evening.  We'll do one at World of Speed, we expect, but probably won't try to fly without Nancy in full attendance tonight.  The Salt Talks t-shirts are available -- I'll get it all figured out soon.

Thanks for your nice thoughts and good wishes, folks.  C U soon.  And keep listening to the streaming audio!

Nope - sorry.  We'll be back within a few hours -- shall we bring some?  If so -- how many?

Listening in now, this is fantastic.javascript:void(0); :-D

Having a little difficulty figuring what is going on with the 2 different announcers - is one voice calling out who is in the staging line, and the other calling out the speeds for that vehicle?  I'm trying to figure out which car is running which speed.

Any guidance would help to visualize what's going on.
