Home made Tubing notcher
« on: July 24, 2011, 09:27:57 PM »
We found this old vice down the street that a neghibor was throwning away, because the faces were gone. Joey suggested that we cut the base off and mount it on our drill press table.  We now can tilt and offset notch to our hearts content and get the crazy notches we will need on this car using the 4 different size tubes 1.5 1.625 1.75 and 2 we will be using

imo a square tubing joint would be just as strong if supported by other tubing placement or gussets
