Leave the bullets in the chamber and be ready to fire at the next event!

I hope the mower operator is getting some "Hi-Test" also.

Cancellations are always a bummer but few and far between. This gives everyone a chance to better prepare for speed week. This should be a great meet. Looking at the pre entry list shows the caliber of the racer with a big need for a salt fix. See you there.

A little salt in the wound, I was loaded and ready to go so we went to do some dirt bikin, (dont worry we stayed off the lakebed). The weather was perfect, a little warm but not over bearing. The wind was calm throughout the day. (it got a litttle windy in the evening) had my SCTA passes and they wouldnt honor them? I know we cant use them on non event weekends but this was an event weekend? Gave the BLM $60.00, there my donations for the year!

I went to the SCTA building yesterday a help with the trailer loading. I used the unpaved entry road because I figured the paved, BLM, entry would be closed.

There were several wash outs along what used to be a pretty good dirt rad. It will take a long time for the road to return to previous condition. I also saw standing puddles and mud patches along the road.

From the building we could see standing water in tha start line/pit area of where we would normally race.

The shut down was a good call and delayed as long as possible.

My understanding is that the SCTA pass was for those that supported the event and did not use the "off-road" facilities.  There was no event.
