Title: Registration is now Open
Post by: blackslax on March 27, 2011, 06:30:24 PM
Hello All,
Registration is no open!  We are offering a "Racer Package" this year that include 2 hats, 2 T-shirts, and 2 decals.  It is a great value to get all of your gear up front for event.

Be sure to put your address as the one you want to rulebook mailed to.

Happy Registering

I just completed my online registration,,, it was very easy to do.. thanks for the online entry form.

There is one concern I have, there was no drop downs for any "Classic Class"  that I could see.
I run CGALT, CFALT , CBGALT , CBFALT  and I know of several other Classic Class cars that have run in Loring as I have and are also coming this year as I am.   I just entered under modified to complete the registration since I did not see Classic...

Let me know if I need to do anything else.

Thanks

Charles

It would not let me register.  Said my phone, email were no good.  Wouldn't let me register 2 motorcycles either.  Basically it didn't work at all.  Tim, let me know where to go from here.

I just did a few using different letters and symbols in the email and had to make an option change.  I did a bunch of tests and everything seemed fine.  Thanks for yor patience.  I am on teh road today, so please hit me through the contact us with any glitches.

The great thing about this form generator is that next year all we will need for returning racers is your car number and any changes.

Roadracer and all,, I registered up just fine (except my car class "Classic" was not listed)  Tim has already fixed that glitch.

I am sure Roadracer, it is because you are a bike guy LOL,,,,

Just try again with no spaces or dashes in your phone number.

See you at Maxton this weekend ??

Charles, leaving the dashes out made it work.
I was a lil surprised to see the directions to mail in the payment, but no biggie.

Hey, "check in in the mail"

(what were the other 2 world's greatest lies???)

"I'm from the government and am here to help you" is one, and the other is -- well, the other is more for a PM than putting here on the non-joke part of the Forum.

Registration submitted, the only glitch was I had to leave dashes out of phone #.
May run additional classes not sure if one or two. Should I submit payment in advance for extra class?

I'd suggest you go to the ECTA site for a number.

And post here what your vehicle is and its modifications are, and someone will help classify it.  You can always change it if you need to when you get there.

Two questions? Is the "racer package" still available? How quickly are you filling up? I was scheduled to run last year, spent $135 and was unable to make it. I just don't want to drop the cash until I'm sure this year. Thanks, Rick B.

I got my number from Donna, my class from Steve, filled out the form online and mailed the check to the address listed. That was last month. The check has not been cashed yet. Should I be concerned that the mailman is lost? Maybe I'm just anxious.

Anyone Know how many cars & Motorcycles will show?  Any way to get a count on preregistered? Yes I am thinking about going again to this great event but am curious to the turn out this year before I buy my ticket.

Dave, the Forstall bunch including Bill Warner will be there. That should be worth the price of admission. I'll be there too, no bike though. :-D

Pre-reg is on track relative to last year to have  a total of 140-160. About half/half.

Now Dave, I could have saved you the plane ticket and rental car,,, all you would have to do is ride with me,, drive the truck part of the way... help in the pits and drive the push and recovery truck at the track !!!

Glad you are coming, see you there.

Charles, I do appreciate the offer but with our crazy work schedule at the wind tunnel I can't be away that long to drive up and back.  Good luck with the trip and look forward to seeing you at Loring!
