I have the ECTA rule book on order but I'm hoping to get a consensus about roll bars from the people who have been there. I'm working on a 65 GTO project. It will be a street car with A/C and nice interior as well as wipers and mufflers. The foundation is an Art Morrison Max G chassis using C-6 front suspension a 9 inch with watts link in the rear. The frame rails are 2x4 .120 wall. I will be running a LS based motor with a Magnuson setup and hope to make 600-700 wheel HP. The goal is to have as much fun with this car as I can. To get where I want to go I have to plan now. The body is attached to the chassis, the motor mounts are done and I'm working on the headers and exhaust before the floor pans get fabricated.
I would love to run Maxton with the car as well as other non LSR events. Since this is a street car first I cant live with a permanent roil cage. If I fabricate a cage using the correct spec materials and anchor to the chassis with grade 8 hardware will it be legal to run at Maxton?
Thanks in advance for your input.

If he's anything like us that's the only time he talks to customers, the rest of the day is used to actually work! :-D
