Eddie Powell ... made a couple of 199.9xx runs and was never diswayed from his goal. We talked on Saturday night and he said that he would do it in the morning ... Congratulations ... Joe

Fantastic job Eddie. It worked out well. You had a 199 party Saturday night and I'm sure the 200 celebration is still going on. You are proof that hard work pays off. Well deserved.
-
Some people might be disappointed at going 199.975 and being that close to the big 2, but being a champion is celebrating every step, and you are a true champ. Pretty good for a 63 yr old man?
-
i knew you and the bike had it! he worked very hard on this, this is more impressive than all motor or naked hats! the bike dont go straight or stop straight! you earned this the hard way eddie, welcome to the club!
-
You mean the sidecar outfit is NOT SAFE....."The bike don't go straight or stop straight"........OK...OK
I promise not to get into this again.........................................................................................
-
I would suggest that the bike doesn't prep itself, load itself, pay its bills, fuel, tech or pilot itself down the course and it "dodge" well doesn't stop itself. Precious few riders can and that might be part of why it is a new record.
Sorry I missed seeing you this past weekend Thomas, hope you feel even better for October. later, ken

Congratulations Eddie!!
