Well if Todd & I make it then so will Josh & Amanda (my daughter, not Josh & Amanda a couple... hahaha) cause we're a traveling caravan show. :-D Not Sure about Lauren & Jakie cause I don't know when she needs to be home.
And that's so frikken cool about Rickey. Will be great to see him running at Loring. (but if you still need a faster rider you know where to find us! Quick doesn't always mean Fast! :-P HAHAHAHAHA)

Hey Karl.....
U bring one of those lobsters like u sent us the last time and I will tell work I'll be there when I get there....LOL
-
Oh man, this topic is just one of the reasons why I want to go to Loring!

On the way from NY to Wendover ( over 2300 miles) there's a place around Des Moine Iowa (half way) serves a wicked Corn dog which is quite tasty and maybe not locally as scenic as the coast of Maine but it has cheese and so what if you can't get a fresh Sea food dinner. LOL
I think this get together in Popham might have the makings of a LSR tradition. For a lot of us in the New England area, it is geographically a real nice break on the Interstate south bound, and a genuine bonus opportunity to break bread with our LSR family.
Even if it turns out to be less than we expected, food wise, which I doubt, the social aspect in a relaxed non competitive off track atmosphere is a wonderful opportunity.
I look forward to it.

Hi Lauren,
I seriously fouled up last year in not spending time yakking with you and won't make that mistake again.
It seems like we are all so busy at the track we don't have time to spend with the people we have been looking fwd to yakking with for a year.
Jims event is perfect, we'll have the people, and no bikes to work on.
BTW: The picture of yr dog with that mojo lobster still makes me laugh.

Karl, are you going to pack a 1.25 pound lobster in the bike somewhere? It would be the fastest lobster on land. :)
Of course we know lobsters have been well over 500mph... but not on land!!!
-
...get someone to show you how to hypnotize a lobstah and stand it upside down (yes, I'm serious!)

Remember when I was a kid I used to turn over rocks for bait to use to catch Stripers or Blackfish or Porgies.
Good Eatin' Fish.
Now that I can finally afford to buy them I'm eating Bait, Bugs,Sea Boogers, Weeds and Seeds.
We are not a definite for this but we'll try .

Popham Beach was the site of a very early English settlement attempt, 1607, well before the crazed religious Pilgrims in Plymouth Mass. It only lasted the winter, they headed back on the supply ship in the spring. That they built the settlement on the beach instead of a bit up the protected Kennebec River was a factor, as was antagonizing some natives instead of trading with them.
Plenty of fishermen were here earlier, staying over to keep claim on nice beaches for the cod work.
Nutjob Pilgrims get the ink, go figure.
Beautiful there, if I can stop by I shall. BJ

They may have been nutjobs, but they stuck with it and worked with the Natives ...
-
I think that they worked more at killing the natives then working with them ... Prince Phillip's War

I have a silly question, will there be any options for food other then lobster & clams? Crab legs maybe? (don't ask, traveling with young people, wondering if we should hit up McD's on the way in - nuff said! )
:-D
Debbie
