I'll be there on a normally-aspirated ZX10. Maybe make a few passes on another bike as well.
My numbers will be 12 inches tall :)

I rebuilt the engine last week with new 13 to 1 pistons. I just have to get it on the dyno to seat the rings and check the A/F ratio.I am finished with all the fairings and now I have to get the rest of my stuff together. Lets see where did I put that sun screen.
-
I washed my Silverado! :-D
-
I go to get the roll bar, seat and belts mounted on Saturday. I pick up my header tomorrow, and I will letter and number the car Thursday. I am close to being ready to race.
-
Good luck to all those thrashing to make it in June.
Hope you all make it.
See you in 24 days

Some type of Blue, with silver or white. I real like Sal's blue, but I don't want to use the same exact color. I'm sure stickers will go on at the track again. I have better luck finding someone that can do it there. Scott Horner came accross the country just to put stickers on for me :-D Man I suck at putting them on

ahhemm.... let me know if you'd like some coaching on proper quantity & placement of vehicle numbers & class designations. :-D :-P

I am not sure what blue Sal's bike is? Mine is '07 Vigor Blue, I love it!! Another Forstall associate, blue bike, Cool
Fred

Bill my speed has had an increase in speed since painting it yellow.
-
I hear Black is the fastest color, since it absorbs light (Internet Myth)
-
I think it must be flat black that is faster.I tried shinny black and it was definitely slower than yellow . But Charles is always fast and uses flat black .

Eric, my colors are not quite flat black,,,, more correctly it's satin black. Flat black is a... well flat,,, LOL
My Stude is still drying,,, the satin black was laid down just before noon today,,, We will let it cure till Monday and then put the body back on the chassis and start wiring and plumbing.
It will be a stretch to make Maxton this month but we will try.

Terry,
Great news! All the best to Lawson, the Blackbird, you, and everyone associated with it.
Probably be at least Oct before I can get back out on a safari and down to Maxton but will be keeping track of everyone's progress thanks to Jon and the site.

We should be there with the burgundy thunderbird cup car and revolutionary's white firebird. We are finishing up the dual carb and tunnel ram on the bird right now. On the dyno tomm I hope.

Loaded up last night. We leave Friday morning.
-
Everything is packed and ready to go .The bike was ready to go .Then a surprise came in the mail. I got a new fender today. So I have two days to mount it and paint it . Then I leave on Thursday.

I will be there as a spectator, hoping to get some good information and meet a few of the great people on this board. Just look for the tall fat guy with the straw cowboy hat.

Truck is fueled and new tires are on the trailer  I've been trying to set the fuel map for the turbo, but any WOT runs on the road in front of my house are just too fast to hold very long :-o Looks like the track will be my dyno this time! I'll be on the road Thursday morning.

Don't just spectate, participate! Check down a couple of threads about volunteering- for me it was a lot more educational than just watching.

Randy ... I will need your expertise in setting up the Innovate fuel logger ... I have to mount it yet but that is all I have left to do ...

No problem Joe, we can do it Friday. Save me the usual space beside you, I will be there around noon.

The group leader that hired me is having his retirement luncheon on friday; so it looks like I might miss out on setting cones and weed-eating (is that when you eat the whole bag of potato chips?) but I'll cry later. How late does tech inspection go on friday?

Have a great weekend everyone. We are definately out this meet. The 6 is completely torn apart. 3rd rebuild this year. Determined to solve the oiling issues before Maine. The 10 has some shifter problems that have been problematic so we have the electronics apart on it. See everyone in Maine.
-
Usually six or so. My plan is to have you train a new guy (at least, to the best of my memory he hasn't worked Shut Down before) and then have you get in line. If you put the bike in Inspection before you train the New Guy it should be done by the time you're ready. We can let Todd and/or SSS know it's yours so they don't skip you.
Have fun at the party - see you soon

Personally I won't skip anyone if all the necessary items & gear are present & paperworked filled out. Especially if I know they're volunteering, at a rookie meeting or have otherwise informed us. If there's a problem I just hold the paperwork or don't sign off. If there's no paperwork then you're SOL. ;)

Alright. Truck is loaded, trailer is good. Heading down to pick up the racecar, and then off to Maxton.
