Title: Seeking Suzuki Mechanic
Post by: sheEmoto on May 08, 2010, 01:13:27 PM
Please contact me if you know of any Suzuki mechanics who are looking for an opportunity to experience motorcycle Landspeed racing at it's finest!  Our lead mechanic was called back to MotoGP (sniff) so we have an open spot on the team for the BUB week.  All expenses paid; racing with an experienced team; all prep work is complete but we need hands-on assistance in Tech.

Where are you from? I know someone near Fort Worth who is awesome with pretty much all bikes, especially Honda or Suzuki and has LSR and drag racing experience. He has a very succesful bussiness owning his own shop though, so he may not want to re-locate.

As she stated..."All expenses paid; racing with an experienced team; all prep work is complete
but we need hands-on assistance in Tech."

I don't mean to speak on her behalf, but I interpret that as needing competent help with the motorcycle's engine disassembly & reassembly; which may be required for displacment measurement after breaking a record.

Did you find anyone? Know a couple of Aussies who are quite adept at wrenching on Zooks who will be at Bubs with me.

Assuming we are not rebuilding engines at the meet again

Another +1 for Scott , esp with his being local and likely to have better contacts for any requirements,

But quite happy to help out a fellow racer where we can

And Scott already has a Red Hat so he won't be begging to ride but he could ride if u had a handling problem

that u couldn't solve.

Another vote for him.
