Here is a first draft of my 2010 Team Tee Shirt Art.
Trying to incorporate both cars and logo..

Not sure,, may need a better pic of the Vicky,,,maybe SSS has a copy of the pic he used for the 2009 Salt Talks art ? That may look better ??

i'd wait a year -- and see what they're wearing in Impound.
Stan
-
Stan you going to wear/buy one of my shirts when the Stude goes straight and true ?
-
Looks like a "Classic" shirt design.
Mike
-
Yes Mike,,,, I see you truly know what "Classic" really is...
Charles
-
You're right, of course -- maybe SSS does have a copy of the photo from the '09 Salt Talks shirt. Maybe is the operative word here. Are you suggesting that I oughta look in the house 'puter to look for it?
-
Slim I think the car or bike on the salt talks t's should have ran on the salt before?? Stan back's roadster would be my first pick but thats me
-
Mike, CJ'S tee is a team shirt. What Jon does for his salt talks shirt is up to him.
-
Well, Mike -- I've been using a different criteria for selecting what vehicles are on the Salt Talks t-shirt -- and that's picking from vehicles that have been featured in build diaries on the site. I'm trying to use the shirts to further promote the website - and to encourage folks to make public their builds.
I figure there are lots of shirts out there that show vehicles that have run on the lakes or cement -- but since the Salt Talks shirt is part of Salt Talks which is to promote the website -- ergo the shirt shows vehicles being built (or being run for the first time after being built on the site).
That's my reasoning.

got ha good idea Slim , didnt think of that. Yes the vicky - stude would be the one.

Charles --
A little too busy for me -- it would detract from my rippled abs and bulging biceps -- or is that bulging abs and rippled biceps?
Stan

Jon, if you happen to find the pic of ythe Vicky you uses, I would appreciate it if you could email it to me.
Thanks
Take Care,

Jon, can you make a tee shirt for Stan out of spandex so his beer belly ego will fit. :-D
-
Looks nice Charles, guess you'll be using white t-shirt instead of ....oh, say RED? :-D Red is very important to me for opening weekend of Speed Week!! After that, any color gets worn!! (Hint, hint!!) Let me know if I'm being too subtle here!! :-P

Glen, we don't do stretchy fabrics - they'd get all stretched out of shape. But as for making a shirt from Kevlar -- well, here's an example of how we know that Kevlar will not stretch. Take this as proof.
It's pretty expensive, though -- the shirt is about $175, and then we'd have to add a buck or three for the artwork.

Choices Now ? Pick one option and do a one sided print with just logo on chest pocket area ? Or do Version A or B on Back and version C on front of a two side shirt ?? oh well,,, shirts are harder to decide on than parts for the car..LOL
Option A
(http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii43/cajunkid5690/Venable-2010-Shirt-comp1.jpg)
Option B
(http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii43/cajunkid5690/TeeShirt2010B.jpg)

When it comes to mechanical things, it's either right or wrong. But when it comes to committing art to print, asking questions is not a bad thing.
I like A, but I would prefer to see a full front print - something I can spill mustard on. :-D
-
A on the back with just the small logo on the front, just my opinion.

PS......A would be perfect if the shadow was under the Stude like it is under the Vicky... just an observation on my part!
