Ok let's see how the Vote turns out.
-
Sorry Kid, I couldn't help myself....

-
This is Fun,,, Bville and Stainless,,, I have a good memory !!
Seems like the 42% is No so far ... so is my secret safe ?
Charles
-
Tim, no matter what,, it sure is going to make a kick arse T shirt ?
-
yes it will. i want 2
-
I've got it figured out!!! :-D Charles (Darlin), can't change his satin black because it's his signature color, BUT...he can change the red and the white!! You know, reverse 'em!! :-o That way, the numbers are RED and outlined with white!! Of course, he could also just be stirring the pot because it's winter, and he's bored, and he thinks he has plenty of time to get her ready for racing  Or, he thinks, (which is true), we need something to take our minds off of how long it is until the next race!!
You're such a sneek!!
Lynda
PS. wouldn't chrome be a little too heavy? of course, if he put "dimples" in it, that might lighten the load a little!
-
I was thinking of finding a photo of a zebra and posting it with this comment -- but decided that it wasn't worth the effort. Charles -- the comment about Bonneville/black paint/too hot - is very valid. Hey, even in the lines at Maxton you'll be warm - but you already know that from sitting in the Vicky. But if you wear a cool suit you'd be a lot less uncomfortable. I shudder to think of how much it'll cost to have one made for you by Omar the Tentmaker (who else makes 'em in your size?).
Speaking of which -- when you're shopping for t-shirts I'll be happy to refer you to the firm, down near Tonya and Kieth, in southern Alabama, that makes the shirts for landracing.com and Salt Talks.
Oh, and speaking of shirts -- Stainless, yours got mailed today. I believe that we might have had to substitute a size -- where you wanted a pair of one certain and we didn't have a pair, so you got only one of those but something else instead. I hope that's okay. I'll send the bill by private mail - but am using this post to let everyone else know that I'm selling lr.com and old Salt Talks shirts, whatever sizes we have left, at a discount form regular price. It's time to clear out the years and years of shirts I've got. Buy many -- and we'll call it your donation to the website. You'll get a good price and pay retail for shipping -- and we'll have less stuff in the basement. Thanks.

Lynda darling .... Am I that transparent :?
I assume most of us are bored out of our gourd by now,
We all like to have fun, and some of the comic actions by them pesky moderators will not be soon forgotten   I too shall seek my retribution
Hope we have a good crowd on chat tomorrow night, Lynda make sure you join us,,, it's not the same without you...
Ahh... back to the grind....
-
Sometimes facing Reality just plain hurts.......
You're gonna do what you're gonna do anyhow.
I learned a long time ago that you just don't ask your wife certain questions. The answer is always NO.
Is that all you ever think of?
Same goes with paint.
FREUD
-
Charles Darlin',
Won't be able to make chatline tomorrow night. My computer is very sick and is being sent to the hospital this afternoon. In fact, this will be my last post until I get my computer back.
Talk to you again in a few days....try to stay out of trouble  I know, I ask way too much of you guys!
Lynda

13 Yes
12 No
8 undecided / disallowed
Oh well my secret scheme is still safe !!! :cheer for now , polls are still open !
Charles
-
Everyone i have seen the secret and may be bribed into telling!!!
Charles just kidding!!!
Your secret maybe safe with me! :-D :-D
 Robbie
-
Robbie, I know my secret is safe with you (and the Mopar crew)
We are still waiting on several options/versions of the Logo placement, Numbers and Lettering.
Hope to have a decision made by this Sunday.
Charles
-
Robbie, I know my secret is safe with you (and the Mopar crew)
Careful Charles, I think an offer to pick up a breakfast tab for them in April could get very tempting to that crew..........
Regardless, whatever the scheme I know it will wind up looking sharp, your rigs always do.
Take care,
Ed
-
Ed, you may be right,,, but our favorite breakfast spot (Huddle House) was closed up in October...we found another place in town to hang in the early morinings.
The Mopar Crew are stand up dudes, I am sure my secret is safe....
Charles
-
Polls are still open ....
20 Yes
12 No
12 uncommitted/disallowed
-
Good crew and stand up people for sure. But they do like to eat..........
Have a general idea of the new location from a source who should know. Hope to be able to look everybody up in April.
Take care,
Ed
-
Ed, I don't remember the name of the place, but it is big and has plenty of room,, about 10 times more dining space than Huddle or waffle House,,, It is in Laurinburg betwnn the KFC and Pizza Inn,,, something like Jim's Breakfast all the Time,, I think..
Hope to see you and the rest of the Team in April.
Charles
-
Paint it a color or colors you already have, your friends have, or what ever the person whose going to paint it has. Paint costs too much................. 8-)
-
J Six,,, yes,,, my Team colors are Satin Black, Red and White,,,, so the paint design will use those 3 colors,,, no more, no less,,, and we have plenty on hand... The only decision is how much of each and where and how etc...
That's the big question,,,,
PS... Like Lynda said,,, I am just probably bored and we all need a little fun in the off season,,, Last year I did a build diary on the new shop,, this year a Paint Poll,,, yeah this is fun
Charles
-
Mac's All Day Breakfast
Ed,
If you pickup breakfast and dinner you might get it out of us :-D
Robbie
-
Dang Robbie,,, did not know you could be bribed so easy,,,
Hmm remember, if you give my secret away,,, you give up the "chance" to drive my car
and we know you want to drive a fast car lol just funnin ya...
Hey changing the Vicky rear gears to 4.30's that should launch her better for the drags,, Low 10's ??
Charles
-
One time a couple of years ago Nancy and I went to Mac's for breakfast (we do about once per Maxton event) and the "special" that morning was fried liver mush. I kid you not! We'd never heard of such -- and upon asking the waitress were served a portion. Imagine a slice of meatloaf (shape) made of ground liver and who-knows-what-else. It was just tasty enough that neither of us had to use a napkin to cleanse our mouth after ingesting the stuff.
Okay -- that sets the stage. Is fried liver mush a delicacy that we northerners had just missed? Or were they playing a practical joke on us racers/people from way up north?
Other than that -- the small serving of oatmeal at Mac's is still plenty big enough. Good prices for breakfast, lots of folks in there all the time. Plenty of parking for those of us with the race trailer behind our trucks, too.
-
SSS,,, now Jon,,, you did not fall for that Liver Mush ??
I can only assume they figured you two for Yankees... Liver Mush is the Southern way as payback for unsuspecting Yankees. LOL
Just kidding,,, some folks actually like it,,,my self I will get up from my breakfast if anyone within 10 feet orders that nasty concoction of fried guts and gruel.
Charles
-
Charles,
Easy? I know how much that crew likes their food !
Robbie,
Gone from pocket money into my main safari expense budget now, decisions, decisions................
Slim, Charles,
Fried liver mush does sound like it might be of interest to our owner/driver, will mention it when next we talk.
Ed
Dang Robbie,,, did not know you could be bribed so easy,,,

Ed,

23 Yes 47 %
12 No 24.5 %
14 Uncommited/Disallowed 28.5 %
No clear winner yet,,, the secret remains safe !
Polls are still open
Are we having fun yet ?
Lynda,,, the off season is sure boring !!!
-
We'll let you entertain us, Charles! .... and we'll have a real good time! :-P Hmmm good line for a song......... la la la la la .....tra la la...!!
Is it August yet? :?
Lynda

Are we having fun yet?
Robbie

Lynda is your computer off the sick list now????????????????????
-
Are we having fun yet?
Robbie
Bride says I've gotta' be physcotic when she see's me sitting and staring at the 'puter screen with a smile on my face.
Fun? At a meet or at home planning, building, remembering, sure thing!
Ed
-
When are we going to see this thing? The suspense is hard to bear.
-
wobbly, there are a bunch of pics on the build diary,,, this post is about,,,,
Should I show the secret paint job on here to the entire LSR world now, or wait till the car is 100% finished and ready to debut live at the track ?
Charles
-
Show us!!! :-D :-D
-
Glen My computer returns from the hospital tomorrow, (I've been limping along with the PC Freud sent me....can't go into the chatroom, the computer freezes up) anyway, surgery was successful, but only temporary...will have to get a new one next year sometime...or thereabouts!
And Charles Darlin.......no fair changing the rules now :-o We've faithfully followed each of your flings...now fess up on paint job!!
Lynda
-
Now Lynda
Is the time right yet ?
I thought I had the final design narrowed down to 3 versions A, B and C.... now after much thought I am in process of a version D....
Hmmm,,,, should I do a poll on which design to use ?
Oh wow,,this could get out of control...
but if you feel in control you are not going fast enough.... who said that ?
Charles
-
26 YES
14 NO
14 Undecided/Disallowed
Using Yes vs No then the yes has the majority,,, but those extra 2 categories (that some mystery moderators added) has skewed the results somewhat...
Polls are still open,, lets see what the weekend brings ?
Charles
-
Charles, just bring it to Speed Week and let the forum members paint it for you.
Heck we'll even supply the paint.
Don
-
You could probably even turn it into a charity event!!!   :-D
Pete
-
:-D Charles, I like the idea of bringing it to Speed Week un-painted, and letting us have a shot at it! Sounds like it could be a very interesting paint job! You haven't even got it completed yet and I'm already excited about it! I'll have an "Old Crow" sticker for you to put on the Stude somewhere at least! Keep up the good work and the pic's.! Crow.
-
Thanks Guys,,,, I like the Charity event !!!! I even like you guys supplying the paint,,
I think the sterile environment of Larry's paint booth may yield the best results !! and you crazy guys would probably bring some crazy colors like Fuscia, Magenta and even Pink LOl
Well it is cold and raining here,,, no shop time today.. Taking family to see the Rocketts Christmas Show at 4pm.
Charles
-
I believe you are referring to Mac's Breakfast Anytime ...
-
Yep, Mac's is the place,, very big dining area... good food and fair price.
I guess that's the new Breakfast hang out since Huddle House closed. The good thing is it has plenty of room if more than just 20 folks show up at the same time.
Charles
-
We need a big room
Good prices
We like too eat
Robbie
-
Robbie,
I sent you an email with pics of the combo push bar/chute mount/anchor line unit.
Charles
-
Charles,
I like the chute mount push bar combo.
We are doing the same thing but using a seal bearing for a wheel.
Our chute mount is welded to the car but am making the pushbar removable'
Will show pics when we get close to finishing to see if anybody thinks we should do something different.
Stay tuned in.
Robbie
-
Robbie, the unit I sent you pics of installs like a receiver hitch,, so the entire unit comes off when needed.
The ease of design, build and use makes this the one for me.
See you soon,
Charles
-
Charles,
We thought about the receiver mount also but with a four thousand pound car the yank is about twelve thousand pounds and I did not trust the pin in the receiver mount.
So we welded the chute mount solid. I have seen alot cars with the receiver mount chute so I guess its alright. I'm just a big chicken i guess.
Robbie
-
Robbie, A Class 5 hitch pin is rated to 30,000 lbs.... I thought the same way as you did,,, But then I thought about that and the heavy loads a hitch pulls,,,
I still don't trust the class 4 stuff... so I am using OD 2x2x.250 wall tube for the Male and the Female will also be .250 wall fully welded and also gusseted like crazy,,, then the pin will be 5/8 " and we will use 2 pins...
Now that seems like going overboard,, but I am like you and like STRONG, but I want removable too.
Charles
-
Charles,
That's a good idea that i didn't think about.
You can't be to safe brother. :-D
Robbie
-
Make sure the tow line loop of the chute is around a min. of a 1 - 1/4 spool to prevent tearing of the loop.
-
I agree,, we are going above the minimum in every area we can. (except MPH) lol
I am sure we may miss something,,,but our list is just like Santa's we are checking it TWICE....
-
Make sure the tow line loop of the chute is around a min. of a 1 - 1/4 spool to prevent tearing of the loop.
Glen,,, gottcha,,, we have 1 1/2 Solid Alum bar stock,,, will drill hole in it an use it as the spool.
Charles
-
Super, we see a lot of chutes tear off with just a bolts thru the loop.
-
Glen, I look forward to you seeing my Stude pop it's chute properly,,,,,that would mean I made it to BONNEVILLE
Charles
-
First draft of the numbers and lettering is under review by the committee of 3 ... owner/driver/financier ... oops that's all me,,, no committee here LOL  !!!
(well I do consult with my Crew Chief, Race Crew, Painter, Art department, Welder, LSR Forum Friends, Race Friends, Hot Rod Friends and most of all my Family.. my daughter has picked out her favorite version of the paint scheme)
Who am I kidding ? after all the consulting,,,what will I do ? You got it !!!
"I Choose"
Where are we on the Poll now ?
Still Having Fun ????
Charles
-
Come on ya ol' curmudgeon. Let your daughter pick! :-o :-o :-D
Pete
-
PJ, well I am an old softie when it comes to my Daughter...
FYI- She also has a good eye for detail, and YES she did pick out the final paint option, and she agreed with me on the Style and Placement of the Logo, Letters and Numbers. So it was a WIN - WIN for me....
Charles
-
Charles,
Did she pick the same one as the Mopar Crew? :? :-D
Robbie
-
Charles,
I seriously think you should consider painting it clear.
Having a transparent car makes it easier for the tech inspectors and the safety people. Granted, you now would again have to wear pants, and the beer cans rolling around on the floor would not be an option.
At least consider painting the inside panels clear, at least you could see out better.
I motion for one more option on the vote page.
Bob W
-
Bob, now that clear is a cool idea,,, except my firesuit is clear too and if we did that, to much of my personality would show through
Charles
-
CHARLES !!!
I completely fergot ! Be very careful of your wardrobe , Wonder Woman also flies a clear thingie !
Whew, glad I remembered...
Bob W
-
32 Yes
16 No
14 Uncommitted/Disallowed
Only a few more days to cast your votes.....
-
One vote for CLEAR.....what a great idea....wish I'd thought of it!!!!
You could be sure and get CLEAR through tech.
You would be sure to get CLEAR through the end of the course.
It would be CLEAR to everyone that you CLEARLY know what you're doing.....
Buzz
-
Cajun, I sent you a bunch of pictures today on chute mounts we talked about last night.
-
Clearly the those thoughts have not addressed the variations of clear coats so I will need to seek clarification.
Do you mean Clear ,, Clear ? Or Flat Clear ? or Satin Clear ? Or Translucent Clear... I am not Clear on your suggested clear.. am I making myself clear,,, or do you now clearly need clarification ?
Charles
-
Glen,, I will go look now,,,, Thanks
Charles
-
Charles, this is just for your own clarification....clearly the clear would have to be clear Clear, as satin Clear would clearly not be clear, and transparent Clear would be well...transparent which wouldn't be Clear at all, so, clearly, your clear choice would be Clear Clear, as anything else clearly wouldn't be clear. :-D
It is also becoming abundantly clear that you have clearly too much time on your hands and clearly have misconceived how soon you will have to be done with your build so that you can race....
I do hope I have been able to clear your mind of any clear questions you clearly could have had.
Clearly I am Lynda
-
My mind is clear, yet my vision is still Satin Black, Red and White !!!
Charles
-
If you folks keep up with this "clear" stuff much longer I'm gonna go to my word-substituter and put something in there -- so that clear comes out -- -- well, something that's not so clear. Don't you go tempting me, you hear me clearly?
-
Clear as mud.
Let's see the car!
Geo
-
Pork Pie would say , Ganz Klar , Herr Slim.
Maybe this'll get youse off the Cl**r track. How 'bout Wool? Or Ivy ? Or Adobe ?
Linoleum is very retro, black leather is in, but I'm leaning towards Naugahyde.
Contrary to popular belief, it actually is a byproduct of circumcisions.
A car exterior covered with it also has the option of easily being converted from a GT into a streamliner with just a little polishing.

 Clearly he has no sense of humor...
Buzz
-
This is clearly getting out of hand!!! Show us the car
Robbie
-
no dont show, make them wait. now thats fun aint it
-
we aint having fun anymore
Robbie
-
Dang, now the Mopar Crew,,, Strat and Bigdog have opposing views,,, Clearly, the lines of communication in Rocky Mount are in need of clarification.
Guys, let me clear up a few things,, well, mmm, hmmm, huh, oh well,,,nope can't come up with a clear decision.
Stay tuned,,
Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel....
May have a Final Decision this weekend.
Charles
-
Robby's getting an ulcer :-D
-
:-D :-D  Can't wait!!!!
-
i just found out there is another draft we have not seen yet, if you want it to run real fast try "mopar yeller", that would be draft "E" , it's a mopar thing, then we would all be on the same page.
-
Glen,,, The Mopar boys (Robbie and Tim) have seen the preliminary drawings, they have been sworn to secrecy, they have seen 3 versions (A,B and C ) now there is a version D
I am very close to a final decision..
Charles
-
Tim,, I will leave the Mopar Yellow for your guys,,, Robbies car will have to carry the Mopar flag and colors !!!
Hmm,,, that is until I put a Hemi in the Stude,,, then I could be sworn into the Mopar brotherhood..
Anyone got a Hemi to loan me ???
Charles
-
I need a hemi too :-D
Robbie
-
that will be cool with us, we still like draft "C", until we see "D"
-
Well well,,, I just saw a few pic files of the prelim drawings,,, hmm should I post a prelim ?
Charles
-
yea yea give us a peek :-D :-D
-
Now we are having fun
-
well, got to go my finger is tired, g nite
-
I will post a few in a few minutes,,,
Charles
-
Yes Jon, your clear statement is clearly understood and I will gladly clear any more clear stuff out of the closet...well, maybe I should put the clear (ly) in the closet and shut the door...we have clearly carried this far enough.......but, Jon?!! It's Charles' fault! He's the one that started the silly poll to begin with!!
I cl...have too much time on my hands.... is it August yet?
Lynda
-
Well...you are in luck,,, I found the CLEAR version you all asked for...
-
Now,,, clearly you are all going to say,,, that was a tease !!! Oh well,,, someone did suggest Clear,, and thats as clear as it gets,,,

-
This clearly not what I was looking
looks good just hope the drivers suit aint
Robbie
-
This clearly not what I was looking
looks good just hope the drivers suit aint clear
Robbie
-
I guess the Wonder Woman clear paint Job will not work,,,???
Let me add a little color to it ..
Charles
-
Beautiful sketch Charles, but, ummm, where's the black, red, and white? You've only got Blue and Cl...err, uhhh...see-through
Lynda
-
OK,,, I GIVE IN,,, here comes some Preliminary thoughts.
-
OK here are a few,,,, I hope you all feel this post has been fun and the following have been worth the wait.
-
Now what are we going to for fun :? :? :?
Its not August yet
Robbie
-
Charles,
They all look good but my vote would be for the one on top. It defines the front end more for my old eyes.
Tom G.
-
Now Robbie,,, you know I would never "show all my cards"
Version D has still not been posted,, and none of the Versions have Logo's, Numbering or Lettering.
The mystery has not totally been unveiled....
Charles
-
Yes, Tom,,, even though they are all of the same car,,, each vesion shows differant areas better or worse,,, the logos, numbers and letters have enhnaced the look as well,,, makes it look more like a race car too
Charles
-
Top gets my vote as well. Don't know why, just catches my attention quicker.
Ed
-
Top one gets my vote as well, shows just how sexy she really is!! The other 2 are just, ordinary! As if our votes mean anything!! It has been fun though, I do have to admit....thanks for the entertainment Charles Darlin! Now we get to wait for what he's really going to do.....is it?.....could it be?....yup...the first one is "c-l-e-a-r-l-y the winner! Thin Jon will notice that last one? It was just the perfect word and not intended as a teethgrinder-there-it-is-again word! :-D
Lynda
-
Lynda,, of course your votes do mean something,,, If by chance some or many of you vote for the one I have chosen,,, then in deed you would have exhibited class, style and good taste and an eye for quality and detail.
Oh ,, am I full of myself again !!!
Yes,, we all need some fun in this off season... thanks to all of you on here for letting me share my build and paint diary with you,,, I hope you have and will continue to enjoy.
Charles
-
Charles....like the top one better, has more defined lines that breaks up the black for a great color mix on the front end, plus the scallops add to the identity of the car  Keep up the good work! I've been following the blog and the car looks great! Mine is down for an engine change and some minor changes to the car....tonight it is almost ZERO DEGREES here in KC, so gives us time to strip the car down after running over 1,700 miles on the street after B'Ville, testing engine components (poor boy dyno) and a new engine combo that will be alot more competitive. I've got my chassis where I want it, now onto an engine with power to chase the record. Well, back to work......Bill
-
Bill, thanks,,, Hope you get all done with the Motor and you get the reliable HP you need.
Take care,
Charles
-
:-D Top one for me. It shows the "basic black' better. Clearly the one to go with! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours Charles! C U on the Salt! Crow.
-
Crow, thanks man... any updates on your projects ?
Charles
-
Charles, I like the bottom one. It clearly shows the grill openings keeping the Stude look. I suggest that you go with the entire air dam in the red color. My eye says that (as shown) the black accents on the air dam look like a "K-mart" stick-on after- thought.
Of course this comes from someone that is building a car with the original production scratch and dent paint still in place.
I loved seeing the Vicky in person at the track. To those that have only seen the Vicky in photos, I can vouch that the car is even nicer in person. I look forward to seeing the Stude. Art
-
Bottom one for me -- and hide the logos, numbers and such on the windows for a clean appearance.
Stan
-
Stan,,, your Roadster looks GREAT,,, and I see you have hidden your very minimal numbers and letters quite well.
I gather that you don't like them on a car ? Seems to me Race Cars have that stuff ?
The Rules specify a minimum size if I am correct ?
I will look again,,, thanks for the pic of your Roadster,,,, Cool (and fast car) for sure...
Charles
-
#3 looks ford/dodge/what ever Cool to me.
terry
-
# 1 catches my eye.
-
The family gave this careful consideration. I heard the term "batmobile." Rose and I like the top version. The black is not overstated. Our daughter Gretchen likes the bottom version. She says it is "gangsta." This will be a nice car.
-
Wobbly, yep...I heard Bat Mobile from others too !!! Its fun trying to figure out the cars paint and personality !!!!
-
That gangsta sorta looks like its got "tats" not as nices as Nancys though :-D
-
Sometimes its not the art so much as the "canvas"!!
Fred
-
Where is the new paint job? I missed the link, I guess. And now that it's being compared to my wife -- I think I oughta see it. Wouldja be so kind as to make it easy for me to find? Thanks.
-
Try page 7 of this thread, Jeez!!
Fred
-
My name's Jon, not Jeez. And thanks -- and finally -- sure enough, I'd vote for #1, too. Looks coolest.
-
Jon / Jeez ,,, Can't believe you asked where the pics where posted LMAO :-D :-D
One would figure you knew how to navigate your own website,,,
Just kidding Jon,, guess the cold up there is slowing the blood to the ole memory banks,,
Take care,,, see you when you Thaw out in April,,,
Charles
-
Charles, great photos of all the progress, lookin good, isn't this fun....
-
Gary,, yes it's fun...
It would be more fun if I was not Hemorrhaging Funds so darn fast.
But,,, the entire build process is part of the LSR Experience..
As well as sharing this process,,
CV
-
Oh Well,,, the Polls have closed !!!
Looks like 65 total votes (14 in disallowed pirated categories)   Hanging Chads lol
That leaves 51 valid votes
34 yes 67%
17 no 33%
So,,, I guess,, its good I did post the pictures a few days ago,,, it was inevitable the vote would lean towards yes....
Now,,,is the Fun Over ?
Should I show the Final Version with Logo, Lettering and Numbers ??
Charles
-
Do I smell the start of a new poll :-D :-D

Robbie
-
Robbie,,,, now why would I do a new poll ?
I have not even shown version D yet !!!
Charles
-
Here is a working copy of version "D" with the Logo, letters and numbers..
Not the exact location for the Numbers,,, will be lower in the door, This is just a rough outline
Scallops have been "squared off" to match Team Logo !!
-
Here is a side view,,, it is a pdf so I hope it looks ok
It did not show up ?? I guess you have to click to open the link,, oh well I tried.
-
Ahhh, she's a beauty, Charles Darlin!! I'm sure there's going to be a lot of ideas on lettering and numbers!
Lynda
-
Thanks Darlin,,, I hope the actual paint, scallops, logos and lettering on the car look as good as the design layouts,,, the Vicky looked almost identical when finished to the art and design layouts.
Charles
-
I guess the Landracing.com logo is on the trunk lid, and that's why we haven't seen it yet.... :|

SS,
Maybe the LR.COM logo is on the Chute ?,,, maybe the trunk, maybe the trailer,
You can bet at least the bumper stickers are displayed with pride,,
I need camera ready art of the actual "LOGO" I tried to capture it but it did not work.

Charles, that's a great looking design. I have always liked scallops since the first I saw was about 1958, it was on a Pontiac Bonneville convertable, white paint with gold and red scallops. The guy that had it moved to Missouri from (guess where), California.

Charles....this is just the right amount of color......looks attractive not gaudy and I like the nostalgic look of the scallops along with the color combination....I am going to be doing some chages to my color scheme also, hopefully before Bonneville, but the engine comes first. Keep up the good work! Bill

Thanks for the scallops Charles, now our cars can be differentiated. It really does look sweet. I look forward to getting down to see you after the holidays. Cheers, Roddy.

Also my black is more satin and your black is more flat... not quite twins,,, I did figure I needed a bit of flash lol
