Title: Join "Team Linnea" and support her cause
Post by: Scooter on September 20, 2009, 01:29:33 AM
If you attended the BUB Trials and had the privelidge of listening to Linnea's story and the passion with which she presented it you know why this is important. I thought we could help the cause of breast cancer research and have a little fun at the same time.
ALL of the profits from the sale of these tee shirts will go to Linnea's charity.
Have some fun and buy one for the Land Speed Racer in your life.
If you have a business I will place your name on the front  of the shirt, or your logo, or a Scooterism ... anything to sell a few shirts and support one of the people who makes the first week in September so special for all of us.
Let me know if you have any questions.

All funds go to Amazon Heart Thunder...

If this event encourages just one young woman to demand that second, life-saving, opinion after being told “you’re too young to get breast cancer,” then my trip will be a success. If the roar of Harleys in the distance makes another young survivor smile because she now knows she is not alone, my trip will be worth while. When the wind wipes away my tears as we roar though cities and towns I will be reminded of how far my Amazon sisters and I have come and how strong we all are.
Thank you, my passionate racing brothers and sisters for all your support- Linnea "Pippi" Johnston 113.449mph

PS "Butt back...Tits on the tank" was the advise I was given on how to go fast on the Salt for my next run.
