We shot video of a couple of Racheal's passes on the turbo Sunday, before it developed a boost leak. Here is her 2nd fastest pass:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRmzYCzpCa4 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRmzYCzpCa4)
The on-bike audio was very faint for some reason. If anyone knows how to boost it up, that would be great. I tried boosting it with an editor, but I get a lot of hiss.
One thing to watch in this video is the front wheel. Although Loring is a smooth track, the suspension is definitely doing some work.

That's amazing Shane, thanks for sharing.

Nice, smooth looking pass.

The original vid has very, very faint engine sounds. If someone knows how to edit audio better than I do, I would love to get some help. I much prefer hearing the engine!

Racheal & Shane---y'all rock! Another great example of a couple as dedicated (if not more) to the other's accomplishment as their own.

Cool video.
What parts did she hurt when she crashed? Let me know and I will see if I have any good spares I could send her.
Did she get the accident on video?

John,
Unfortunately we didn't get any on-bike video of the crash. We do have some other data though.
We did some inspection today, good enough for a test run:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5ZkhV2r9NQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5ZkhV2r9NQ)
Just right off the top of my head, the bike needs:
Upper
Windshield
Fairing stay
Right side lower fairing panel (*Edited, left is OK)
Rear tailsection
Rearsets
Levers
Bar Ends
There are other scraped up/damaged parts, but we simply can't afford to make everything pretty right now. We are looking for some reasonably priced replacements. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I should have this stuff and as a fellow land speed racer you guys can have them, I am sure I have a left panel for you as well that would be a good painter however the shipping on those are probably 40-50 bucks and I don't have a box that large either.
Rearsets
Levers
Bar Ends
PM me an address to ship some replacement parts to.
Since it was not posted I am going to assume she is battered and a few bruises however "OK"

Thanks John! Yes, she is ok. She has some rash and bruising,etc...but will be ok. She felt good enough to buzz the bike around the driveway this morning. :-)

Awesome to here she will be ok.

Great to hear she is recovering quickly. You mentioned some rash. Did the slide manage to wear through a perf section or did a seam fail? Sounds like overall the equipment did its job though. As smooth as that surface was it still looked pretty abrasive.

Milton, it wore through the stretch panels on the inside of the arms. We are going to be looking for Bonneville spec leathers this winter.
I will be posting pictures up in another part of the forum at some point, just so everyone can see. I never thought for a minute that they would contact significantly in that area, and many people I have talked to are surprised. All you can do from one of these events is try to learn everything you can and pass it on to others.

how did you crash on monday
Front wheel tucked under braking.

You locked up your front wheel? How fast were you going when it happened? I have taken an 100 mph slide down the road. It was not fun. I was glad I was wearing a full face helmet. My front got hot I rolled over on my back that got hot. I ended up arcing my back and sliding on my helmet and boots.

This is Shane, Racheal's boyfriend. Racheal does not post on here (yet). It is estimated that the speed at the time of the crash was 150-180 mph.
