Donna can blow the doors off of any pickup truck! How about a 160 something followed by a 180 something for her first two runs on a crotch-rocket

205 mph and rock steady ... I was running timing with John Donovan and when it printed out we were thrilled ... Don't how she had the strength to ride after all the work at registration and then impound ... Lauren must be a bit tired as well ... great job by the ladies at the front table ... they had pages of records to record.

Thanks Joe...I am just about getting the feeling back in my right hand.  I'll tell you I don't do this for the pay  :-D. I do it cuz Donna makes me...No really it is the greatest job.  You get to see the huge smiles  :-D on peoples faces when they hand over that time slip to be recorded for a record.  My LSR family means the world to me and my boys and I love you all! Can't wait to do this again next year!!!! So proud of my boy and his 228 run. Like father like son.

Congratulations Donna ( and everyone else). No wonder you didn't want to ride a harley in June! My only question is--Where was Joe, at the start line or shut down. In other words, were you running towards him or away from him? I knew it would be an historic event but WOW. Anybody accepting hitch hikers from NC next year? Great job everybody. And a fire/rescue crew that not only remembered there was an event going on, but showed up a day early? This is all staggering

My only question is--Where was Joe, at the start line or shut down.

I was next to Joe... and then when i looked back after the speed was announced he was gone.

Couldn't help him up because I was busy picking my jaw up off the starting line  :-o

Last time we saw her before leaving us with the Mooses.

Sorry, this is all I have time for right now.. just finsihed unloading the rig, going to get Deb and grab some 10pm dinner, try to find a new suitcase and hop a ride to Richmond at 6am for the flight to SLC(hoping we find a shower and a pillow somewhere inbetween).

Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your debut Donna... you are truly a natural!
Todd
PS: Joe, guess you can ride out back like (and with) me from now on... at least the view is good  :-D

This was most awsome.  I'm stilling coming down out of the clouds on this one.  I have been truly blessed with the love of such a supportive husband and such great friends to have been afforded this opportunity.  Joe and I are still on the road and only now have been able to read e-mails and message boards.  I am absolutely blown away.  I can not even begin to thank Todd and Deb for all they have done for me....and Joe.  Deb builds a bitchin' bike...WOW....she is as absolutely awsome. This is a life long dream that I can not even believe has come to fruition.  I look at the pic's that have been posted and just can't believe it.....I must thank so many people, and I will formally once Joe and I get home and my feet touch the ground.  I will tell you that it would not have been possible without the following:  Joe (the love of my life), Scott Guthrie, Todd, Deb, Shane Stubbs, Josh Owen (my wing man), Lauren (for taking over impound so I could race), Rachael Johnson (for donating her Joe Rocket's).  There's more, but my mind is still reeling....I love you all.  What an honor to be part of the "Dark Side".

I'd love any and all pic's if have them and don't mind...e-mail address is donnatimney@yahoo.com.  Thanks!!  o-'o
