Just tool a look at the latest forecast for the upcoming weekend. We better all be prepared.
Friday high 94 degrees with 61% humidity, winds sw at 8 mph. 20% chance of rain.
Friday night low 74 degrees with a 20% chance of rain.
Saturday high 96 degrees with 59% humidity, winds wsw at 6 mph. 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Saturday night low 75 degrees with a 10% chance of rain.
Sunday high 99 degrees with 60% humidity, winds w at 7 mph. 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Temperature in the line to run...I don't want to think about it. I know I saw over 120 degrees on the thermometer on one of the cars a few years ago.
Just an update. See everyone there and lets hope for no rain some cloud cover and lower temps.

The June event at Maxton is called the "Bonneville Tune-Up" for more than one reason. Remember to stay hydrated, folks! We'll have some landracing.com neck coolers with us for sale, too.

Last year in the June meet it went over a hundred ... plenty humid ... not the famous dry heat .... hydration is important ...

Greg, you're too used to livin' way up north in Oxford! Jon, will the neck wraps be more expensive in the staging area? See y'all soon.

Yeah, we are in the cool part of the state. It was 96 Saturday, 90 by 9AM and still 90 at 8PM. I have one of Jon's neck wraps. I'm sure I'll be getting a few more. Best of luck to everyone this weekend.
