I dont use facebook for "networking" much....really just a place for me to upload pics!

I don’t mess with the games or quizzes.....I have too much going on to take the time.

What I did was use forum software to make an area to store my tech articles, pics, results, etc.  At first it was just my friends who could read and post, then we opened it up to the public.  Someday, I need to make a webpage for our racing, (on my "list of things to do").  Seems most potential sponsors ask for a link nowadays, and it's probably cheaper/easier than keeping fresh color resumes available, mine looked like a bar napkin, so didn't do much good anyhow.

At first I called it www.mcratracing.com , then changed it to www.duramaxdiesels.com when I made it public.

or at least stop taking checks... or shipping before they clear... I guess Kent has been nice to too many folks in the past... a racer helping other racers is his way.
Waiting for the Tshirt link to work on the electric bike....  If you get them made Kent, you should bring them to the salt
see ya on the salt  8-)

It's kind of like fuel injection.  You can live without it.  But the rest of the world won't.

:-D

I'm just starting to consider carrying a cell phone on a daily basis.  Seems the world doesn't agree with my distain for them.

Both of my bands have gotten work from our Myspace pages, and my personal Myspace page works as a quasi Photobucket account.  It's not such a bad deal if you need a web presence and aren't good at managing a website.

One of the benefits of having a website is the ability to get "racer" discounts. There have been quite a few times that I have asked for a discount and mentioned my website while ordering parts on the phone. This usually ends up with a discount on the parts I'm ordering and a few times the parts have been provided for free. Being retired in this economy, every little bit helps

Most people taking your phone orders have internet capability right in front of them and can go to your website while processing your order.

Funny this is so do I however you have to look for it as I am not going to post it here...I do see the value in having one and it can be a great tool when used properly however I have no time to play the games or keep up with all of the BS like" I am having a bad day I was late for work" etc....something interesting is good to see however...
