The Buddfab Streamliner was on the cover of the Pacific Coast Dream Machines program.
Mike’s ACK Attack was there with Rocky signing posters and Jack had his collection of streamliners.

Two weeks ago in the travel section of the Los Angeles Times there was a listing of the Dream Machines show. The Costella line up of streamliners was the picture they used.
Nice to see LSR stuff in the main stream.

The 988 car in front is not seen very often.

As I recall the 988 car,Jack's 1st. liner had handling problems. I think it was a front wheel drive with a MC engine. It's been a long time ago. I liked the looks of it. It only ran 1 or 2 times.

The 988 “car” at the show was a fiberglass body only: he stores it on his workshop roof. The chassis may no longer exist. I talked to him about it, he said that the handling problems of this front drive car may have been solved by changing the steering from a lever type to a rack and pinion, but at the time he attempted to fix it with caster and scrub radius changes.
More information about this car will have to come from Jack.

That's quite an effort getting all those cars in one spot!
Any more pictures?
What are the 5th and 6th cars in the row there? ones in primer? New cars?

#5 is a new 500cc liner. Very narrow. #6 may be the Berkey Mod Sport that may no longer be legal.

The 500cc streamliner is not a bike but a car. Its as narrow as a motorcycle and will probably go like hell...

I would guess it has the four wheels to run as a streamliner car and with Jacks design it would could run 250+

yeap, the first 988 front end....ends as the rear end of the second 988.....
the 500 cc streamliner is a copy of the Salt Snake...Cliff Gullett's m/c streamliner....only that it got four wheels....there is space enough in the back to get up to 1000 cc...will be a hell of a machine......at Bonneville it will run with the number 8080.......
