Brett Harris did the 2 Club in one day. His dad, Jack drove the Burklands built, Charley Brown Streamliner to it's fastest time ever with a turbocharged snowmobile motor, qualifying him for the 2 Club. The next year, 1994, they showed up on the salt at World of Speed with their streamliner on the trailer and a back up motor in a rack atop their pickup, still in their race ready snowmobile. Brett made the requisite licensing runs then set the J/BGS record at 220.932, all in the same day in the "fastest car you start with a rope."
Now, Rick White and Brett Harris, two 2 Club members faced off last weekend in the fastest nostalgia drag race ever. Nice going guys!
