Title: An ironhead for Jimbo
Post by: willieworld on March 21, 2009, 05:08:28 PM
I wasn't going to post this bike on the diaries, but Jimbo wrote me a letter and its seems that he has an ironhead sportster that he is getting ready to build or is building. So since I had this one in the frame jig I figured that I should post some pictures. I am building the bike for Buckskin Bill in Sonora, Ca. It is an electric start ironhead sportster motor. The rear wheel, the front wheel and the front end and all of the brakes, are all late model ducati. The bike has a replica aluminum harley flat track gas tank. The oil tank and battery box is all aluminum. And the rear fender is going to be a weird aluminum piece. Its going to be a little blast around town bike and he is thinking that he will bring it down to El Mirage to see how fast it will run. I'll post more pics as the build progresses.

Willie had some time before we head out to Bonneville so he has gotten back into the ironhead sportster once again. Originally he was going to build just the frame but now it looks like he may be doing the whole build. Well here are the pics.
