We all know what a a tough weekend it was for the the whole LSR community, even more so for those from ECTA,,, The greats in life and in any sport rise to the occasion and continue on. That is what the entire ECTA group did this weekend under a multitude of challenges and emotions.
I would like to say JOB WELL DONE and THANK YOU, to all the Staff, course workers, volunteers and understanding competitors. What a professional job you all did to complete the meet.
I hope every one has a safe trip home,
RIP and God Speed to Dave O

I think I can speak for all of the volunteers when I say "Thanks for noticing". I know others appreciate us, but it's always nice to hear it from a competitor.
Let me add that we always need more help, so if anyone can pitch in, please contact me and we'll work out a plan to put you to work. It's really a lot of fun.
Hope we see you all in October

Dan,
That is why I wanted to thank all the volunteers publicly.. I have run several volunteer organizations over the years and certainly know how much work it is for the "few that work for the fun of the many". I also know what a thankless job it can sometimes be.... So any time I get a chance to help the staff and volunteers that put on such a great event, I do give a positive shout out...
Keep up the good work, see you in October.

There is no better racing than the ECTA (IMO) if it wasn't for the dedication of our volunteers and staff. I call them ours because they are my family and there isn't anything I wouldn't do for them. Especially our ladies auxillary.
Of course, I'm always fond of the ladies. Dan and his volunteers (and Big AL) can not be compared in my book. Thanks to all who invest their time, talent and money is being a volunteer for the ECTA.
