OK everyone I know that this is big time "off topic" but I just had to show some of the fab work that my youngest son, Duke, is doing on his Datsun 510!! He is swapping a late model Nissan 240 ZX engine into his 72 510 and he fabbed his own headers and intake manifold. These are the first headers he has ever made and they are nice! The intake manifold will fit a pair of 45 mm Mikuni side draft carbs to the engine. The engine and trans mounts are also very neat.
Sorry for this not being a "Landspeed" subject but Duke and I are working on the ideas for a small I or K class lakester, probably start next year and I am really depending on Duke for lots of fab help.

This is the intake manifold.

He did a good job. I've never made headers yet myself.

What's wrong, getting old, tired, lazy or all of the above. That will be neat I wish I could have worked along side my dad on a project like what you have planned.
4 weeks from today we should have already been talking on the salt.
c ya there,

Who says that it's all OLD MEN in this game?

Dad will have Duke involved before long.
Congratulations, DUKE and Rex.
