Title: the Ab Jenkins Special 1997 edition

I have this huge stack of magazines to do something with. At the top of one on the stacks was the August 1997 edition of Street Rodder in which was a article "A. J. Foyt and Pierce Arrow attack Bonneville". Seems AJ drove the Dee Howard owned car that made at least one attempt at running Bonneville, where they blew a head gasket. Did the car ever run again?

I am pretty sure they brought it back the next year and Mike Nish drove it.
