They will never fit over a rotor or brake drum.

front wheels. no brakes on front. already have a beat up vintage 10 inch Mini Cooper wheel that I cut the center out  to check fit over spindles - fits ok.  thought of just buying a couple 10 inch mini wheels having the centers cut out , and new centers made and welded in. to get correct backspacing. anybody out there .

What Speed rated tire are you using?

Have you considered spun aluminum 2 or 3 piece.  Have you looked at ATV wheels, do you know what pattern you need?

H rated yokahamas  5  x 4 -1/2  3 inch center - hub centric .  was trying to find 10 inch dia  steel wheel blanks . what I have now works fine .  but with the 10 inch yokahamas , I can lower the front fender humps 3 -1/2 inches. little better visibility looking forward. the a t v wheels or 2 piece aluminum could be an option , ill keep poking around .   thanks

You may also want to look at custom 10 inch wheels like I am having made by one of our members.  Sounds like they could be a spindle mount... skipping the hub centric and lug nuts.
