Title: Uhaul Trackers?

Hi Folks, coming over from the UK with my bikes for speedweek and am booking a Uhaul truck from Vegas as flights are cheap.
My question is do they have trackers fitted that would show i took their truck out on the salt and therefore might forfeit my deposit?  cheers Ian

As cheap as the U-Haul "system" is, its highly unlikely.  Just wash it down before you leave the salt.  I'm sure each of their trucks has a "black box" but no one would take the time to monitor the truck's location unless you forgot to return it when promised.

Steve Nelson has been using a Uhaul pickup for the last 3-4 years to pull his lakester to the salt and he ask them if it was a problem going on the salt flats and they had no problem with it so he is renting on this year too. No need to get your nice pick up salty.
