Can anyone point me to articles or pictures and specifications of the Jim Feuling streamliner. Very little info turned up by a goggle search. A couple of pictures and a story about his sad death that claim he ran 370 at BV. I am curious about this build. Someone that was on his crew or build team? Thanks George

Spelling his name right might get you a bit more info.
I pushed it a bunch of years ago along with his Olds Calais at a private meet but we were busy with Betsy to look at any details.

George,
Try this link: http://www.speedace.info/feuling_streamliner.htm it has a pretty good description of the build and also a pic of the car in a wind tunnel.

Looks an awful lot like Don DeBring's car (that along with Goldenrod is what mine (now Jim Knapp's Barnyard Bearcat) was patterned after.

...and also like Walkey's liner (from the side). Sounds like they had a good marketing guy write up that copy.
George, you finally doing something with Bob's old liner chassis?

Cage is illegal. Lots of tubing to be manipulated into something. Has to have 4 wheel drive tho. I am mostly just curios about a car that was pretty successful that i'd like to know more about.

4x4 :?

Mike Nish drove it and set a record in B/FS if I remember correctly. He may have some info on the car. He and Terry were good friends of Jim's.

344.114 mph in September 2001 according to my records.
Started life as a 3 wheeler, then converted to 4? Front wheel drive?

Car Craft ran a write up in August 1992 by Don Sherman. The streamliner was built as front wheel drive, low frontal area vehicle. It was considered as being a car to challenge Al Teague's speeds of the day. CoD was quoted as 0.144, frontal area 7.7 sq. ft. Rear wheels were close together but apparently did not meet the FIM rule (of that time) that they were so closely centred that they would be accepted as making a three wheeler. There were photographs of the vehicle with just one rear wheel fitted (probably in a Bonneville book) but very little other data has been published.
