Weekend project using Cerakote coatings , ceramic (oven cure ) , Microslik (air dry ) for '37 Austin 48 cu. in. flathead in my '40 BANTAM STEVE

Interesting but I looked at their site and they say nothing about heat or chemical resistance :?

There info initally is firearms , engine info is on there somewhere !! STEVE 520 591 6318

I really like the port split aspect of the intake - should minimize cylinder robbing, provided you're still getting enough overall flow - although 48 CI shouldn't require much.
What CR are you at with this piston/head combination?
-
Does it still run the 2 bearing crank?
Sid.

C/R about 9/1 ,, (2) 1 1/4 S/U carbs ,, intake should help .. Crank is 2 main billet . Steve

Well, I can't speak to the coating method - I sent my pistons out for a service to do it, and I hope what you've got works - but a 48" Austin 4 popper with a pair of HS 2s is right in my wheelhouse.
How are you gearing it, and what are you using for a transmission?
Will you be able to make Speedweek with it this year?
Good luck on this build!
