A friend wants to sell his 940 HP NA 369 CiD V-8 engine if anyone is interested. [It will make more HP cammed for the dragstrip!]
Built by the former chief engine builder at ERC. Based on the R08 NASCAR that was never adopted.
Serious inquiries PM me or go through my web page contact!

I'd buy it, but it's got too many hoses.
With over 50 years in the advertising business, I do believe you get 100% more response if you include a price. Gives everyone a place to insult or dicker with you.

since no price is posted i will make a lowball offer here. Would $5,000 get it?
-
Seriously? :-o :?
Go ask these guys what they spent for 800 HP: http://www.enginebuildermag.com/2018/02/369-cid-ls-based-bonneville-engine/?eid=284935200&bid=1995509

Do the math: $5.32/HP won't get you 2.55HP/cubic inch (or more)!
Sorry to bother you guys, but this is not a commodity or eBay item!

why are you getting all offended? You were asked to post a price which you refuse to do so I posted a lowball offer.
How hard is it to post what you are wanting to sell it for? If you do not want to then don't get your panties in a wad when someone post a lowball offer.

Dan, which of your bikes are you planning to put that in?

I have a 1955 Chevy C3100 truck that would be awesome with that engine in it! :-o
-
Yea, that should be enough HP to tow a couple of bikes through Wyoming...

All "For Sale" ads should require an asking price.
