I have about 10 photos of the F4 Phantom exhaust end that is aboard the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier Museum in Alameda, CA. that I would like to post inside a thread. How do I do this? I see the img box but when I click on it, it does not take me to where the photos are located, which is currently on my laptop. How do I get the photos from my laptop to this thread?

Use the "Additional Options", then "Attach" on the lower left.

Thankyou Panic. I see that part and have attached one photo as a test and it works. Next question is, Can I upload more than1 photo in sequence and continue to add more photos or do I have to start a new reply to add another photo? From what I tried, I had to use the reply and then add another photo.

Photos added are limited to no more than four attachments - and the total size of the four must be under 500kb. I.E. for those of you that aren't up to it: 4 pics each 125k, or three at 167 each, or two 200s and a pair of 50s, etc ad infinitum.
OR use a photo hosting site like Flickr and then you can post as many of whatever the heck size you want in any single post.

Is it possible to make the sizing automated for those who cannot figure things out easily?
What does the "Insert Image" box do that I see above the smiley faces?

Of course that can't be automated... it keeps the riff raff from posting pictures
Just kidding :-D
the insert Image is there to use a photo hosting site like Flickr and then you can post as many of whatever the heck size you want in any single post.
