Title: Motorizing a Bead Roller
Post by: Skip Pipes on January 13, 2018, 08:26:33 PM
Iíve has this Low Buck Tools bead roller for 20 years and always wished it was motorized.

About a year back I viewed a YouTube video that detailed converting a HF Bead Roller with a Drill. I thought it was brilliant and the answer for me. So I crafted this from mostly found items from the shop. I did purchase a Ĺ inch 500 rpm drill from HF, as well as a Chevy starter drive from the parts store. I can easily throttle the speed with the foot pedal, which is by mechanical cable. It works well.
