Oh, wait a minnit -- I think I remember her.  Cute girl that lets us in early in the morning if we bring donuts for her and her crew?  The lady that won't let us in without a hug and a chat?  And so on. . .

Many Happy Returns of The Day, Sweetheart.  It sure was fun taking you to the line at SpeedWeek.

Folks, in the 163 years that Lynda has worked Land's End -- she'd never been to the start line!!!!!  That situation got changed this year -- it was her valedictory tour, so to speak.

Thank you everyone for the Birthday wishes!  I had a spectacular day driving from Astoria, Oregon back to Wendover.  I'm really excited about moving to Astoria in April and I promise to think of all of you sweltering in the heat during Speedweek while I'm fishing on the Columbia River next year!  I'm honestly going to miss seeing you every day and telling you good morning.  It was fantastic to be able to be at the start line this year and it wouldn't have been possible without SSS coming to Land's End and taking me out there! Thank you so much Slim!
I can't thank all of you enough for the wonderful memories I have of the past 19 years! I LOVE you all!
You guys take good care of Kaara (Barney) for me and yes she is a "Mini-me"!
Good luck with your builds, protect your dreams and no shortcuts on the safety!!!

well, the salt hasn't been protected this year too much....mature nature protect himself with a lot of rain....we didn't had so much water on the lake very often as this year...
it was really wet and the security had a short season....but they promised me to take care for me so as you done all the years....

but I missing your big hug on landsend....and the wide smile on your face....

Happy Birthday Lynda, I'll never forget the time we were headed to get gas and ran out at land's end.

You loaned use your generator fuel so we could make it to the gas station.

Lynda, what year was it that we had a birthday dinner for you at the Peppermill?  What event - Shootout?  Finals?  That evening is one of the first things that pops into my head when your name comes up.  Thanks for the memories.
