Hi Linnea.  This year i am further behind in preparation than ever and my riding buddies are coming down from Portland to stay over and watch the eclipse.  Many critical hours will be spent at the big party.  So, it is time to work fast.  The action in the bike shed looks like a three stooges movie played on fast forward.

How are the salt conditions?  Are daily run logs posted somewhere?

There has been almost no public information about how BMST went this year. There were a few Facebook posts, but few details.  I skipped it because my new bike was not ready, but will be going next year.  Is there anyone here who went and can give a report as to the course conditions, runs, big speeds, number of entries, etc?
Thanks
Don

Eva Hakansson and the Killajoule SCS took top speed of the meet at about 244, I think it was.   I get lots of information from her FB site as well as by following Kim Krebs/Black Salt Racing.

The course didn't let the bikes run super-duper fast.  The course damaged lotsa bits.

That's what I've got handy.

Very long (5-7 hours) que lines, only 1 very rough course and very hot temps all added up to a lot of not so happy motorcycle racers at BMST this year.

In the past, one could come to this "Dedicated LandSpeed Site" and get information on what was happening on the salt, albeit a day or so later, but, the info was here  8-),, now it seems we have to troll thru pages and pages of Facebook crap
