Out of the view - out of the mind.....what is going on here....
Did the Speed community forgot one of their greatest legend...a real hero....
just for you guys....
a couple days ago, on the 21. June....
Big "Al" Teague turned 76.....this was also the number of Betsy (his racer which he used with so much success)
Al is in a good shape and is enjoying his life with his wonderful wife Jane.
He is playing on Hot Rods in his workshop....and I have the hope that he will find the way to the salt for a visit, maybe this year, just to say hello (so as Craig last year)
I wished him the other day all the best and many repeats
Al....stay crazy and enjoy every day

Al stumbled upon the elixir of youth decades ago. . . to fill one's heart with hopes and big dreams makes for a fully loaded life.
Once heard, never can one forget that ripping sound as 76 thundered down the course. Geeez.
How was put? Oh yes. . . "Head's Up, Al Teague is on the way." And then the pits halted, turned and watched as history went by.
