It's the first of May and a good day to stat the ball rolling for the Salt Talks t-shirts this year. It'll be the same old format - for deciding who's on the shirt, that is. Check under the sofa cushions and in Uncle Dick's old sport coats for some spare $$ - and be ready to gain your bit of fame by being on the shirt this year.

Remember folks, this is not about vanity.... this is a major fund raiser for the site... Even if you don't own a LSR vehicle you can buy a spot and put your favorite race car or bike on the shirt... you don't have to attend to buy shirts for friends and family... Jon will ship you a box of shirts.
If you always wanted a shirt with a certain car on it now is your chance to support the site and get the shirt you wanted.
Who's got that picture of One Run chasing the push vehicle? :cheers:

Okay, now that the discussion has begun - nah, I don't want another pic of Freud's butt so don't try that one again. We ALL thank you for that bit of discretion.
We've had the logo for the Barons car club and enough pictures of Fred Vance that we wonder how the cops haven't figured out who he is. We've had a before and after pic of Stainless in the A.S.S. 'liner, and I still wear the one with Ray the Rat's memorial on it.
Stainless is right - this is a major fund raiser for the site, and I'll admit to being such a whore for landracing that I sell the sleeves, too.
We can fit three or maybe four cars/bikes/logos/whatevers (no bare butts) on the shirt plus a logo on each sleeve. Highest bidders get placement -- simple enough.
There's already one bid of $400, so get your bid in. I don't try to get crazy $$ (although won't say no if the Sultan comes calling with his checkbook and race camels or somethin'), so don't be afraid to offer. The worst that'd happen is I'd think your bid was so stinkin' low that I tell everyone what a cheapskate you turned out to be, and even after Nancy gave you that hug last year. . .

I'll throw out the Lowest acceptable bid of $200 with the hope that I get shoved out by higher bids.... :cheers:

Unh, wouldja believe it, my comments about the butts -- was made for just this specific photo, girls and boys. Stainless has threatened to pay big bucks to get it on the shirt, but I've managed to resist him by being proactive.
I wonder, though, if maybe we made some shirts with a long tail and printed the Bockscar Buttz photo down there. . .

Hey, kiddos -- the t-shirt discussion kinda got slapped in the butt by the photos, but - I've gotta get my butt in gear and start the shirts process.
We've got two people that have stood up and offered to spend some money so they get to choose some of the art for the shirt. I'd sure like to have more -- since the shirts are the biggest way landracing dot com has to generate the $$ to keep going.
So - I'm gonna order the hundred or so (blank) shirts most any day. I'd like to know that I've got enough money coming in to pay for them. Thanks. Let's hear from you, please. :cheers:
