Title: nor-cal racer looking for club to join??

Hello my name is Bert Vicchio, new to el mirage racing nov. of 2016. live in Orangevale, CA. near Sacramento.  //  new 1953 truck xo/mp / is there a club that has openings for new club members?? willing to work events and attend a meeting. Thank you very much.   bvcap@comcast.net   / 916-208-5155

Join the Super 4's. Small club but very active. Contact Roy Creel about joining. His contact info is in your rule book.

You could also consider the Rod Riders. They have some very fast GMC powered racers. And a couple of Bay Area members that I know of.

Nope...... they just don't want you.

Try the Land Speed Racers. They already have a team in Orangevale, and a couple in Chico too.   8-)

I agree with Michael. I just became a member of Land Speed Racers and they made me feel welcome in joining. I was previously a member of the Gear Grinders, but they have a by-law that states all new members are required to volunteer for 20 hours of additional service on top of patrol duty.

ok, funny and thanks! it would be good to know more local guys. **  thank you very much! Everyone i have meet at el mirage has been very nice and helpful.  not a easy sport to get into and i need all the help/ support i can get!!   
i'll get right on contacting the land speed racers.    Bert

Yes.....LSR.....I can show you how to have more fun than you have ever had in your life on October 22nd from 7AM to Noon. I'll even let you do it by yourself so I don't take away from the experience  :-D 8-)
