Trying to establish if Leslie Porterfield "set a record" in the 240's, can somewon verify if this happened :?

I'm thinking as her name dosent appear in the FIM listings (thay show history) it may have been AMA ?? ,,

Why restrict your search to "on salt"? Becci Ellis achieved 264.xxx mph in August 2014 at Elvington Airfield in the UK. I'm sure Malcolm UK can provide more detail.

Achieving high speeds on a sealed "Tarmac" surface is a totally different animal to achieving similar speeds on "Salt"
I am sure we in the Landracing community are aware of what Becci and Mike have done on "Tarmac", :cheers:
